The Antimicrobial Filter represents the first stage of filtration for the AIRBOX Summit Series. The Antimicrobial Filter prevents microbial growth, deactivating microbes that irritate people’s lungs and can make people sick. This filter is treated with the Microban Aegis Microbe Shield® which works 24/7 to eliminate microbes and prolong the life of the Summit Series air filtration system.
The Antimicrobial Filter also boosts the lifespan of the Purifying HEPA Filter by removing particles at the beginning of the filtration process. We recommend replacing the Antimicrobial Filter every six months to keep your air purifier working at maximum efficiency.
